Massachusetts-based store GUAPSKE has used New Balance’s 998 silhouette for a fall-themed version of the classic kick. The sneaker is a celebration of the store’s one-year anniversary as a neighborly project — since New Balance’s headquarters is just two miles down the road from GUAPSKE’s front door.
The “Autumn” 998 comes in a season-appropriate colorway, which sees black, cream and gray offset by flashes of orange to the tongue and heel tab. The sneaker also comes with an upper made entirely from premium Perf suede, a black shoe bag with the two brands’ logos, a second set of wax laces and shoe trees
